Carmen

I took to the stage at the British Embassy, Paris, with fellow musicians from Pembroke College, Oxford, to entertain a private audience in the first concert at the Embassy since Sir Peter Ricketts's appointment as Her Majesty's Ambassador to France. I concluded the concert with a solo performance of Vladimir Horowitz's infamous (and fiendishly difficult) Carmen variations, a set of variations written on a theme from George Bizet's opera.
